Spanish for Heritage Learners is designed for native or heritage speakers with some proficiency in Spanish. This course aims to improve reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in academic and professional settings by building upon the Spanish skills that students already have. This course will increase linguistic and cultural competency by exploring the heritage of the Spanish-speaking world. (Prerequisite: At least two years of high school Spanish or World Language Department placement or instructor permission) (Twelve retroactive credits earned upon successful completion of the course with a grade of B or better).
