Description
An average of 10 hours each week (a minimum of 150 total hours) is spent providing social services in a community agency serving diverse populations. A new field setting is found for this academic year to strengthen and broaden the student’s social work practice, knowledge, and skills. A weekly 2-hour field seminar examines a social justice approach to social work practice and develops students as reflective practitioners. Prerequisites: SWK 342, 343;
Pre- or co- requisite: SWK 455. Enrollment restricted to social work majors.
