Description
This course builds on the Advanced Psychopathology and Social Work Interventions course to address clinical social work practice with children. Those Diagnostic and Statistical Manual conditions that affect children and adolescents will be examined in more detail. Clinical social work interventions will be presented using various practice theories. Family therapy models will be presented as well. This course may be taken as an elective by students in the child and family specialty focus area.
