Description

An examination of the roots of social justice in the Jewish and Christian traditions, as manifested in the Hebrew Bible /
Old Testament and in the New Testament. Representative readings are drawn primarily from the Pentateuch, the
literature of the Prophets, the ethical teachings of Jesus in the Gospels, and the moral exhortation present in the letters
of Paul. Prerequisite: SEA 101.
