What's the schedule like?

The days consist of a mixture of workshops, small group time, meals, large group time and fun events!

What do I need to do before NSO?

A few important things are:

1.Make sure you can log into your MyMountMary account and email account.

2. Make sure you complete the Pre-Orientation survey, which you can find here: https://forms.office.com/r/wt2XcasBun

3. Make sure you have no pending financial aid items. You can go to your "Finances" tab in MyMountMary to check on the status of your items. Ones that need action will be in red.

4. Get excited!

Where do I park?

Students and guests can park in the Student parking lot off of 92nd street. To access this entrance and parking lot, please use the address 2929 N 92nd St, Milwaukee, WI 53222. Staff will be available to direct you upon arrival.

What do I bring/wear?

Wear comfy clothes and shoes as you will be moving around campus! Bring a water bottle, sunblock, and your log in information for your Mount Mary email and MyMountMary account.

What if I can't make all of NSO?

If you are unable to make some of all of NSO, you will need to submit an absence request form by August 16, 2024. The link will be available in June via email. We review excuses on a case-by-case basis.

Is there a different schedule for transfer / commuter students?

Transfer students coming in with 24 or more credits are welcome to attend NSO but it is not required. They should check their email for information about an optional half-day transfer orientation on August 8, 2024! Students with over a two year gap between graduating high school and entering MMU also have the option of attending our half day program.

New commuter students and residential students who are first-time first-year freshmen have the same schedules except for August 21! On August 21, commuters can check in for NSO during a specific noted time while residential students will check in for NSO when they get their keys to their hall at their assigned time!
