Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) Funds  

CCAMPIS provides financial support to income eligible Mount Mary University (MMU) student parents for child care expenses. The goals of this funding are to facilitate student parents’ access to high quality child care, increase their retention and persistence rates as well as reduce time to degree completion.

Funding priority is given to students with most financial need, those with children under the age of 2 years, and those with more than one child in child care.

Eligibility guidelines:

  • A completed FAFSA on file with the MMU Financial Aid Office and must have financial need. Funding eligibility and amounts Funding eligibility and amounts are based on a student's Student Aid Index (SAI) 
  • Enrolled as a degree-seeking student at MMU during the semester for which you seek support.
  • Child care services must be provided at a state licensed and accredited center approved by MMU. Funds will be paid directly to child care provider.

Program expectations:

  • Maintain good academic standing each semester (Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher) 
  • Provide documentation for dependent children and day care enrollment as needed
  • Pay remaining daycare costs after CCAMPIS funds are applied
  • Participate in CCAMPIS workshops and/or meet with CCAMPIS staff as needed or requested

    Policy Against Sex-Based Discrimination and Harassment

    Mount Mary University (“University”) promotes an atmosphere of care and respect grounded in the University’s core values, Christian principles, and mission to develop the whole person.  As such, the University does not discriminate on the basis of sex in any of its education or employment programs or activities. Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972 (“Title IX”), its regulations, and certain other federal and state laws prohibit discrimination in such a manner. Under Title IX, discrimination on the basis of sex includes sexual harassment.

    Title IX’s requirement not to discriminate in any of the University’s education programs or activities applies to both students and employees and extends to both admission and employment.

    This policy was revised and adopted on 8.1.24.

    This law requires institutions receiving federal financial assistance to establish drug and alcohol abuse prevention programs for students and employees. Students and employees must receive materials annually that contain standards of conduct, a description of the various laws that apply in that jurisdiction regarding alcohol and drugs, a description of the various health risks of drug and alcohol abuse, a description of counseling and treatment programs that are available, and a statement on the sanctions the university will impose for a violation of the standards of conduct.
